Basically, does it have one and where is it?
Thanks
It does not have.
You anyway airplay from a device, so no need for a headphone jack. If you want to listen with headphones, you would plug into your e.g. iPhone.
Or do I misunderstand?

No you understand completely. I still find it a bit odd, though. i airplay through my Mac which is in a different room to the Beolit 12
If you hardwire the I.product to the Beolit it charges it from the internal battery. The Beolit battery then runs down faster. Use the headphone socket and you don't have to charge the speaker so often.
