A new retail Bang & Olufsen space has opened in Costa Mesa, Orange County, California. The staff on our first visit offered us glasses of champagne and were very accommodating and knowledgeable. It is a relatively large space at a mall dedicated to furnishings and design. They will have a functioning multiroom display setup soon. Nice to see that it had a lot of traffic in and out, and regular purchases being made. If you are nearby, definitely check it out.

Visiting the Costa Mesa store again today to pick up a ML/NL converter, they have an area dedicated to vintage products. Pleasantly surprised to see the Beosound 3200 set up and functioning well. It rekindled the feelings of awe when I first encountered the brand years ago.

The current products should be doing that... Or at least I think that's the idea when you have a store !!

Believe me, they do. When I go in I want to try and buy everything! But the first product my wife and I bought with our wedding money in 1999 was the Beocenter 2300 and Beolab 2500’s.

A new US store?!?!? That's as rare as the birth of the baby in "City Of Men."

Nice to hear that...

@Jeff : I think you're referring to the wonderful movie "children of men"?

Ah, you're right, had a senior moment there, thanks. It was a fascinating film. You know what they say, the memory is the first thing to....what were we talking about? Stick out tongue
