Hi,
This is my first post as I was just given (I cant believe my luck) Beosound 1 by one of my customers (I'm a Telecoms Technician).
The only issue is the antenna will not raise. I can hear the motor 'whiring', but the antenna does not appear.
I read somewhere in the forum that, because the unit displayed "AU" when I tried to program the clock, it signifys this is a 'model 1' Beosound 1 unit (if that helps with the diagnosis).
The reception is remarkably amazing - even for community (weak signal) stations in FM - considering the antenna is either missing, or shrouded by the unit.
I think this is the beginnings of a life long love affair with B&O.
