I have succesfully repaired the beomaster. Only the FM frequence show 74.8Mhz.(FM chancels are working correct). I noticed IC8 (U264) is not working. I want to buy a new one. Let me know if someone can deliver a good one. Kind regards Jan

For the stucked FM display you can use a U664B Prescaler IC instead. Same PIN OUT, only for 1,50 € in the Net. For me it worked always when I needed to exchange the IC.
Also check the shielded wire comming from the tuner to the uPC board, sometimes it slipping of the sockets.

We have had discussions about this IC a couple of times before.U664B cannot be guaranteed to work. And even if working at first, it won't last.I never use anything but U264B - the original part from Telefunken.Martin
