I have a Beomaster 4400, Left channel very faint on stereo. With hum. Tuner faint.

Tape1, tape 2, phono work on mono.

Board is clean no marks or work on output section.

There seems to have been access under front panel and some soldering. Difficult to get one of these units that have been left alone.

Any thing I should look at beyond what is in

Archive Beoworld posts. Not sure if it’s good practice to go straight ahead on recap.

Any advice most welcome.

i had a similar problem to this on one of my units, tracked it down to a noisy transistor in the left channel......cant seem to locate the post where I documented it though Cool
