Correct - that is the PN of my cable.

However, I don't see any type no on the box.

No - i did not hear any differences with that cable.

Otherweise (at least - if 'difference' would mean 'sounding worse'') I would have returned it to my dealer

immediately....

....and I would have warned about it here.

Thanks Roger and MM

Confirming the part number in triplicate.

And I was referring to the loss of the data signal, not the audio signal which is fine.

By data I mean the controls + -

It is definitely meant for the H6 as it has a printed guide on the side of the box Laughing

Where did you get this information? I am using them with a regular 3 conductor plug without problems.

Sorry, my wuoting did not work for some reason.

Someone stated that the 4-conductor cable do not work on a headphone amp. Where is this information from?

that works.

That's the standard in box cable.

The "replacement" cable is NOT same 4-conductor

Nor does it have the controls built into the cable (obviously)

A 'replacement cable' is meant to replace another - in this case for users, who don't need the 4-pin/remote version.

If you need a '4-pin cable', that is longer than the default, it would be a 'long iDevice-compatible cable' - and not a 'long audio cable'.

I don't know, if that exists.

As an iDevice is a portable device that you carry with you, that is a non-existing problem in my opinion.

Unless you want to keep your iDevice in your sock while you are running Hmm

U.S. site (and Amazon) has two lengths of cables without remote and replacement iDevice and Android cables with remote

Sadly, Sounds Heavenly does not believe an upgraded cable is possible because the slim plug surround leaves no room for more robust wire...
