2 years Essence and BL 18 and 1 year Avant. No drop outs but occasionally the WiSA doesn't find/connect to the BL18 which is 4m away from the Avant. Dealer blames 5g network on Apple Extreme but it is far away and I have manually moved the 5g network to a band range which is far from the WiSA range. No real solution other than disconnecting power on BL18 and reconnecting. Most times WiSA then connects. No interim drop outs.
Six months now with 4xBL18 and a BL19 connected wirelessly to a BV11.
Things were terrible when my router was running both 2.4 and 5Ghz networks. The router is near the TV and I currently don't have an alternative location for it. So I had to disable the 5Ghz network, after trying every channel, even the ones which are more distant from the Wisa frequency.
Since I disabled the 5Ghz, I never experienced a single problem with any speaker.
Thanks Marcello. Unfortunately, Apple Extreme routers do not allow for disabling the 5ghz frequency...

I had forgotten about it sorry. I was under the impression that you could disable by Alt-Clicking Radio mode in the Wireless Options window of Airport Utility but I was wrong, I double-checked and you can only have better control on the protocols.
BTW, if you need a suggestion for an alternative I switched to a Netgear R6250 as the access point in the living room and to a R7000 as my main router. The extreme (the "brick" version) became too obsolete for my needs.
Edit: By the way I can confirm that when I had the 5Ghz I had no dropouts. Either the TV would detect the speakers at power-on or it wouldn't.
I have a Beosystem 4 with a Transmitter 1 and 5 Beolab Receiver 1s. I've owned the system for 1.5 yrs. I have had numerous random dropouts (Speakers power off out then back on moments later). The situation appeared to be associated with heat. See http://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/p/18059/157824.aspx#157824 where another user and myself have attempted to rectify the problem. After placing feet on the Transmitter 1 and installing two 120mm quiet fans behind the Transmitter 1 I haven't experienced any subsequent dropouts. I don't have 5GHz wifi in my home, only 2.4.
Edit: Nevermind. I quoted by mistake stuff that I thought was recent..
After updating the BL18/19/receiver1 software to the latest software version 2.0.6 ( believe) I have had rock steady Wisa connections to my Klipsch wisa hub for 6 months.
The SQ is also immaculate :)); fully as good as a wired optical connection.
I have no issues with wifi interference, and the wisa and wifi hubs are mounted only 20 cm apart.

Here you can see WiSA transmitter in BeoVision Avant 2014.
Maybe it is possible to create a better 'antenna' if there are problems.
I have a Transmitter 1 (software version 5310 (Latest)) and 6 Receiver 1s. I do not have a 5Ghz network in my home. I still on occasion have issues with WISA. The speakers will have digital noise. It can happen on startup or even later. Its random to me. Fortunately its rare but it does happen Last month I experienced it twice after a year or so of no issues. I use the system daily.
