k2yag: I read in the What HiFi review that the A6 could be paired with an Avant (new). Has anybody experience of this. Assuming this would need to be a wired connection to the TV. Was hoping it could be done wirelessly to have some mulito room functionality.

I am sure they mean wirelessly as well. The Avant is NL enabled as the BV11, in order to be part of the Multi room experience.

A very neat table stand is now available for the A6, provided by STBbrackets.
Very B&O I would say. And it adds some aluminum for those who miss that on the A6 :)

I am not sure, if I like that.
Isn't too 'ordinary' - it is just like putting a new-designed B&O product on an old-fashioned B&O floor stand.
From looking at the pictures they somehow don't fit together (from a design point of view).
Maybe that is just me ;-(

Got mine today, my first impression: hyper cool ! The product I was looking for to Multiroom with my Moment or to offer super sound quality in standalone mode, more to come as I discover good and bad things :-)

Last week, I listened to the beosound 1 and 2 and the beoplay a6.
I find the a6 more interesting than the beosounds due to the surprising stereo image for its size and its beautifull style.
It is definetly an excellent speaker in the range that can be found at an interesting level of price
