Casperl- fantastic pictures :) I have a similar setup, one question: what do you think the BL19 bring to the BV11+BL18 combo ?

Thanks for the compliments Smile

Kparis6: I actually spend some time the other day, creating speaker groups with/without BL19 and tested it back and forth with different sources. In conclusion I think it requires quite a bit of volume for it to make difference playing "regular" music, radio, pop and so on. Same goes with regular tv-watching.
But, when playing bass heavy music at a normal level or cranking up the volume, it definitely makes a huge difference that i would be sad to live without Smile Same situation when watching a movie with great soundtrack or sound effects! All-in-all i think i could easily live without the BL19 and that the BL18s does an amazing job on it's own, being such a "small" speaker (volume wise). That being said ... When getting used to the BL19 i would miss it, if it was taken away from me Stick out tongue

If you haven't tried it yet, you should borrow one at the local shop and try it out in your own home Yes - thumbs up

Thought i would share a small compilation from my living room, now that i enjoy all the wonderful pictures you guys are sharing

Hoping that everyone is having a great weekend!

Very well done Casperl, minimal but not soul-less! Love it! Really like the gray wall that frames the BV11, very tasteful!

Local B&O shop had a second-hand Beoremote One (warranty-replaced unit, ie. almost as new) for a discount, and I thought why not Cool

Very slim compared to a Beo4. The display is nice, menus took a moment to figure out (without manual) but I am not sure if I like the feel of the keys. Replacing the batteries is a bit complex. One positive aspect over the Beo4 is that I can set one of the custom keys on the second top row to act as A.AUX so I can activate that with only one button (vs. Beo4's LIST).

Renaming menu items is pretty cool, fe. I can set N.RADIO to show in my case correctly as "Phono". I could even rename the sources as Beocord, Beogram CD7000 (almost fits the screen horizontally, scrolls) etc.

Are the 18's not a tad too high compared to the 12-2's as rears in movie setup? My 12's are placed at ear level with the rest of speaker facing downwards, and sound good placement wise.

I had my BL12-2 very high up on the wall so the tweeter is lower now on the BL18.

And the BL18 has much more space in the sound. Much better now. And another thing, they look so good. Big Smile

Thanks. I would agree with the comment you made when your 20s arrived. Even though only slightly taller than 9s, they seem to have a much larger presence.

Is that a BV-7 55 without BR/DVD ?

It is even better looking without the tiny bump! Mk I or II?
