Hi Per
I have seen Norwegians on the danish QXL a few times. And I have sold a CD 50 to a guy in Norway -so it is possible.I guess you can find some sellers on dba.dk too, who wants to ship to Norway. It's probably not all who wants to send out of Denmark, as it is a bit more difficult...You can always ask them - it costs nothing to ask
Absolutely true Steffen
Problem is, that a BeoMaster 8000 weighs over 20 kg, which is the maximum weight limit at most of the shipping carriers here in DK, so it will be quite expensive to ship a BM 8000. A 20 kg parcel shipped from DK to Norway with Post DK is already 100€! And a BM8000 will probably weigh 25 kg when packed...
So it does very much depend on, how cheap the BM8000 is, and how much you are willing to pay! You can sometimes pick up a faulty one for about 60€, but service is also gonna cost!

And, Post DK does not offer insurance on parsels to Norway... So shipping is the hard part!
Thanks for your input guys. Yeah, I pretty much figured if I find a BM8000 I want, shipping is going to cost. Both domestic and abroad. However, if I find one looking pristine I think it would be worth it.
My first post...I have the Beomaster, Beocord and Beogram 8000 -- might be interested in selling. Have manuals, everything from purchase. My dad left it behind in a divorce ~1981... rarely used.
How does the Beosystem 6000 sound?
The Beomaster 6000 versus 8000 got a great review in Denmark at the time 1981 or so when it was new on the market.
Translated to English the headline was: Better than big brother!
Now the 8000 is far more complicated than just being big brother and above that but the 6000 plays loud and clear all the way. The 6000 '80s is just never talked about on B&O forums as something special.
I have had my Beosystem 6000 since late 2007 when the 3 main units came up for sale in an auction. All of them needed their 25 odd year + service as they were nearly doa. Dillen serviced it all including 2 pairs of Beovox speakers and even brought a matching SC60 stand in white to me.
Here you can see it in action with a Beocord 9000: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJZf0MSaZdY
I had 2 Beolab 8000 systems and they take space in full setup. Finding the full setup and then service can be costly and time consuming. Locating a SC80 stand in Denmark if you go by single buying single units can be difficult as not many are about. Or just MS150 speakers.
The 6000 was so more simple to complete and it still plays great. I am so far done with Beolab 8000 system.
