I think the BeoLab 17 are very much over looked, under rated and over priced. They are the BL3 replacements. The WiSA module couldn’t fit in something as small as the BL3 casing back then plus the speaker cloth provided a placement for the module to receive a signal through.

I love the Beolab 17 and if I could splash out on them I would. Might for for that ice cloth rather than the conservative black cloth because I’m such a rebellious anarchist me... Big Smile

Present: BL90, Core, BL6000, CD7000, Beogram 7000, Essence Remote.

Past: BL1, BL2, BL8000, BS9000, BL5, BC2, BS5, BV5, BV4-50, Beosystem 3, BL3, DVD1, Beoremote 4, Moment.

Mine arrive on Saturday. We have quite a small living room at the moment, and eventually they’ll go as rears. But for the meantime, I couldn’t think of a better compact speaker which is of course WISA too.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

Hello,

I am just wondering if there’s anything else we should expect to see in the near future, 2-3 months, such as:

- new remote (BR One BT successor or alternative solution?),

- hi(gher) end soundbar.

Or maybe the recent change of CEO might have affected the pipeline.

Does anyone of the insiders know more about the upcoming product releases, if any?

I know that this is confidential but maybe if we are getting closer to a release date, it’s just a bit less confidential than it used to be some time ago. Smile

Thank you.

They really do need to bring some new lower priced products to the market to entice the average person but one dare not ask where they will find the money to do that. They seem to be in a very grave situation and running out of money fast sadly.

They managed to pull themselves out of similar situation in the 1980s but the world has moved on from physical media and B&O has been a physically focused company with a recent reputation for zero customer service and pathetic and dysfunctional software.

It’s all a bit sad. I have to confess that I seem to have lost interest in B&O in recent months.

New “remote” is 6+ months out

No “higher end” soundbar anytime soon.

A lg 77” soundstage a la eclipse is the harmony or just the beosound stage with the lg 77”

There might be other things coming though, not entirely sure on timeline. A CEO change doesn’t affect this as most things have been started design and prototyping 1+ years ago.

New: Beovision Harmony, Beolab 50's, Beolab 28's, Beolab 18's, Beolab 17's, Beosound Stage & LG, Beosound 2, Beoplay M3, Beoplay A1, Beoplay Portal, Beoplay H4 gen 2, Beoplay E8 3.0

Old: Beosound 9000 mk3, Beolab 3's, Beovision Eclipse, Beolab 1's, Beolab 2, Beovision 10-46, Overture 2300, beolab 8000's, Beolab 4000's, Beovision avant 32" etc. etc.

What makes you think that that would come much cheaper than the BV Harmony?

You’re right - but he might be able to prioritize some things over other things, in order to get something out earlier (or later)..

I’d like to see a revamped Bluetooth Form 2 headset, maybe with some basic touch control for volume and track skipping.

It’s such a pity to see that iconic B&O design being discontinued.

Oops, this was only a personal wet dream, sorry. Smile
