Cool, the software has clearly advanced! Still no footage of "Audio Mode"? I guess setup is the same for Stage + C9?
Curious when the BeoLiving-implementation is ready and what it looks like on screen!
So, the big question is will you in the future when 8K and eventually 16K screens are more available (and affordable) be possible to upgrade the current LG 4K screen with an 8k or 16k screen only, i.e. retain the B&O speakers/stand/controller but replace the screen?
Is the 4k driver components in the B&O part of the unit, or in the LG screen? I would assume in the screen, but with B&O you never know, they prefer to sell you a complete new unit rather than upgrade.
yes this will be possible, the B&O bit strips some of the audio out and does it's magic from there. In a few months 8k will be available. 16k is a bit dreamy though, next big step is 10k but that will be 2 years or so on LG's part for the first ones to appear.

My dealer said yes. The screen is basically on a VESA mount connected to the motorised stand. The only thing is that all the settings for the B&O stuff (speaker groups, roles, WISA,etc) are managed by an LG WebOS App which will be available only on certain models (the C9 as it stands now). In the future they will be able to limit which TV sets can be used with the Harmony by selectively enabling access to the app.
Is the TV connected to the speaker with an HDMI cable? If so, what are the actually usable HDMI ports, 3 or 4?

Thank....must be quite new.
You may have noticed that there is a port for a Stand....which in this case is not in use.
This might indicate that the same platform ‘could’ be used for another configuration of a speakers part and an LG-tv.....maybe sometime.

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Yes, we need both a vertical and rotational movement at the same time! :)
Pricing for the 65" Harmony is announced at 13.500/14.500.
It reveals the flexibility of the product: the Soundheart and the stand are the same. Only the LG panel, panel adapter (100 euro) and the fronts are different (500 euro price difference between 65" and 77").
Makes the product very flexible when moving house etc.
Pricing is: 8.100 for Harmony, 540 for the wall/floor stand, 100 for panel adapter, 260 for BR1.
Fronts in wood: 2.000 for 65" and 2.500 for 77"
Fronts in cloth: 1.000 for 65" and 1.500 for 77"

We had ours setup last week. It was not easy to do, especially with the wall bracket.
Nice, I know those guys!
Michael has been to mine many many times!
Cant tell from the angle of the picture, but isn't the TV pretty high up?
Just a question, as I dont know the restrictions of the room.
Ditlev: We had ours setup last week. It was not easy to do, especially with the wall bracket.
Yes - it is slightly high up :) and just when it was put up I was a bit concerned - but it’s a very long room, about 18 meters, so actually it’s working out ok (or so I am telling myself :))
Michael is great :)
So does the Eclipse work in the same way that you can change the panel by yourself?

The 2020 version of the Harmony has been launched.
- 88" (8K) available. I've asked if the sound center has been upgraded to 8K but I'm 99,9% sure it's still 4K. Based on the 88ZX panel from LG.
- 77" and 65" are now based on the LG GX (instead of C9 previously). If you ask what are the differences between a GX and a CX: exactly the same panel and electronics, so picture-wise it's the same TV, but the GX has a full slim body and improved audio... Which are both useless for a Harmony as it's a very deep foot and as the LG speakers are not used. The real reason behind it is that the GX panel is distributed via a more selected distributor network, so it's price (700€ more than the CX) will be consistent and you will not have the feeling that B&O is selling you a LG TV at the standard price when it's on sale everywhere.

Where?
I see nothing on the B&O website.

Beovision 7-55 MK1 red, Beolab 10 red. Beolab 50, all black. Beolab 17 broken ice. Beolab transmitter. Apple tv4 and apple express 2.
Indeed: official LG price for the 88ZX : 29999€. Add to this a stand that should be 8100€ or more, two panels in wood for 2000€... And the remote for 260€... Yes, the 40k are reached easily!
My local shop ordered the 88" Harmony, they will have it on display in two of their shops, really looking forward to see the "monster" in flesh. I guess my just ordered 65" Harmony will look small and tiny next to it... just imagine the 2 massive wood panels!
So the lift mechanisme of the Harmony must be pretty tough if you can just switch between an 55" and an 88" piece of glass!
Indeed, a 80kg stand is a little bit oversized for a 65 inches TV weighting less than 20kg...
mbee: Indeed, a 80kg stand is a little bit oversized for a 65 inches TV weighting less than 20kg...
It's not exactly the stand I'm talking about... It's the motors that must do the lifting...

Off-topic, but if the Harmony has been upgraded with an LG GX screen, the Eclipse can't be that far beind. Any news on this?
@kuyttendaele : the 80kg must include big powerful motors and not only steel & aluminum!
@Moxxey : it was only a news about the Harmony, nothing concerning the Eclipse, but we didn't search for that. An Eclipse could benefit a bit more of the GX design if they adapt the sound center to this full slim design.

The Hamony have always used a standard LG Screen, so nothing have been upgraded from B&O
The Eclipse have a custom LG Screen, therefore the Eclipse have to be altered in some way.
But my guess is that the reason the Eclipse V2 is not launched, is because they clearly still have the custom panel in stock.
Beovision Harmony 77" 2nd Gen, Beolab 5, Beolab 17, Beosound 1, Beoplay M3, Beoplay Portal, Beoplay Earset, Beoliving Intelligence
When I ordered the Harmony this Saturday I discussed with my local shop couple of options. He mentioned to me the the Soundcenter for the 88" also a 77" can be fitted, but not a 65". So it looks like there will be a separate SKU for this heavy piece. He expects the Eclipse in August, with an updated way to mount the screen on the sound center, he also mentioned the screen will be sitting 5mm higher on the sound center. But no positive information if the "old" sound center can be upgraded by a a new mounting kit (potentially nice opportunity for STB Brackets)
I would love to see B&O care more about our heavy investments as a customer in the brand to support future upgrades path. B&O has been never good at that. I am almost sure that a lot customers would upgrade the electronics in a eclipse or harmony for future formats, or room correction systems or what ever.
Also think about the dealer if there is an upgrade kit for the Eclipse form the the old panel to the CX, a lot of extra business and a good way to get in touch with customers. At least my shop would love to see this.

I made a decision over the weekend to get the LG GX + Stage, rather than wait, and wall-mount the GX. In fact, I've decided to get two of these setups, for both rooms (where the BV12-65 was located), which still leaves me with money to spare versus an Eclipse purchase.
I love the idea of the Eclipse and adore the oak fret, but just can't justify the £7K+ for the 2017 panel nor wait months for an Eclipse v2. The dealer I spoke to last month said 'September', so it's definitely 3-4 months away.
I agree, the GX and Stage are a perfect match. I’d do that in a heart beat as well.
B&O in my life 😊:

When I realised I could buy 2 x LG GX + Stage + BeoRemote and still have money to spare, I was sold.
I moved my BV11 from the wall to an easel stand the other day and I'm *so* used to it being on the wall, I forgot it's low on the easel stand and the sound experience is very different. I guess with the wall, the BV11 speaker uses the solid wall behind to enhance the bass? Without it, free standing, it's very different.

The Eclipse is not very attractive now if you need, or want the newest tech.
And the GX is really nice wall mounted, so a good solution.
And I think that if you later is missing the function of a more capable Beovision you can easily upgrade the Stage to a Eclipse soundcenter.

Just had chat with a separate (as in, he doesn't know me) UK B&O dealer this afternoon and he says there's no idea when an Eclipse v2 is coming. He thinks August would be unlikely as dealers would know by now - he has a point. Dealers generally have an idea what's coming in the next 3-6 months.
He also claims that the Harmony is selling better than expected and that engineer resources have been diverted away from an Eclipse update to Harmony updates, which is one reason why an Eclipse v2 might be delayed.
Interestingly, he also claimed he thinks we're likely to see an updated Horizon before an Eclipse v2. He claims there's a lot more demand for the smaller screens with your typical B&O customer.
But, to conclude, he also recommended getting the GX + Stage setup.
Hi Moxxey,
I made the calculated decision on a 65 LG and stage for bedroom, very pleased with sound and beo remote integration.
On the negative I know it’s a 4K oled panel, but I only use it for 4K material as my beovison 11 has a better picture on all sources, and with a blue ray competes with the oled with compressed Netflix 4K.
