Dear members,
I bought a few weeks ago, here in the Netherlands, one Beocenter 2300 and one pair of speakers Beolab 4000. I connected everything, cd in and everything worked normal. Then after the cd was finish one of the speakers after a few minutes went from green to red like i think it suppose to be (goes in standby mode) but the other speaker kept green and making a noise "buzz". I checked and looks like coming from twiter. I'm a kind of a handy guy, so i ask the community if there is any fix, solution? Thanks in advance for the help.

All BL4000 suffer from 'sticky' foam/damping material. Especially the MK1 model.
It will etch and harm the circuit boards inside the speaker.
First thing I would do is to take both speakers apart and remove the old damping material and replace it with new.
I've done that with all the BL4000 I've got.
There are many posts in this forum how this is done.
After that the problem might be gone.... If not - check the powerlink cables....
Dear Ravsted,
Very much apprecciated for your information. I will try to do that asap.
