You would - to avoid a double volume control - have to run the Essence box as a fixed line-out into the A8, and control the volume there. This would sort of criple the 'wheely' a bit You will have to use the BeoMusic app as the main interface - which you would anyway in a multiroom setup. It is more or less the same, that I do with my Essence (box), which is connected to my old (ML) AudioMaster. MM There is a tv - and there is a BV.

I decided to use my BS8 solo (with an old iPod Touch) - I don't need networked audio in every room of my house (anymore).
However, if I had 'a spare Essence box', I probably would do it :-))
