I have two Beo4 remotes, one of which I use for my 5 CD changer and is fine, but the other Beo4 which I want to use exclusively for the Beovision in a different room has failed....the LED only shows dots and only certain buttons work. My local B&amp;O service centre tell me the Beo4 is non repairable but this leads to two questions. Q1. Is there any technical way to restore at least partial functionality in the remote. The batteries are ok and I just want it to turn the Beovision off and on and activate the DVD function and volume. Q2. If this Beo4 is truly for the bin, is there another remote...even non B&amp;O... which can activate the Beovision. Thanks for any advice.</p>
