I can’t get the spring to stay in place, should the slider hold it in place ? Does it need to be fixed in place with the slider ? Or does it sit a bit loose in the damper ? and does the other end of the spring point towards the front of the unit or the back ?

7007 lock for lid

Hi, I have the same issue in putting my lid back on my 7700. I am awaiting parts from Dillen ( Martin) did you get your lock ? I may have a spare. Can I contact you if I struggle to put my lid back on thanks
