Beomaster 5 inside a Beovision 9?

I know the Beovision 9 was made to hold a Beomedia 1 and an HDR.  Is there any reason a Beomaster 5 could not be put inside instead?   The Beovision 9 I have has never had either of these products installed. 

What cables would I need to connect to the Beosystem 3?  There is a bracket shown that holds the unit in. I do not have that.  Would it be necessary to find one?

 

I was thinking it would be great to have net music and net radio available.  Is MOTS part of the Beomaster 5 or a part of the Beosound 5?

There was a conversion kit to upgrade the Beomedia interface for the BM5 in the BV9. I did the install myself (easy). Works great to this day.

I would imagine that kit is no longer available at this time?

It was really more about brackets and some bridge cables to get the BS 5 cables run to the controller. I think it would not be hard to do the same today without the kit. Check out the online install manual for the BM5
