I hope to be able to connect a Beosound 3000 to a Beomaster 8000. BS 3000 is intended to be used as the external audio source and the radio and the other inputs of BM 8000 need not be used. Can I connect directly to the BM amplifier via the jumpered terminals on the side? How should a cable look like between the units?

I would try 5 pin DIN BS 3000 UAX to 5 pin DIN Tape 1 BM 8000

Now tried that, but without progress.

Found Peter Pans homesite and will read more there. Got a feeling that he has the solution.

Thank you, Sören.

Just checked the aux has audio out on pin 1 and 4, ground pin 2,and 1V, which may be too much for the BM Tape1.(not sure about this)

Powerlink has audio out on pin 3 and 5, so it should be possible to connect from powerlink pins 3,5 (2 ground) 0 to 2 V, to in pins on tape 1 BM, and keeping the volume way down on the BS
