Hi Leslie,

I hope you are keeping well, I just have quick question and that was; The golden Beo4 I want one, and obviously have worked out that its a home made piece so how's it done? What's the process for spraying the Beo4 gold? I was considering doing the same to one of my early Beo4's but I also really don't want to lose the Bang & Olufsen logo at the bottom of the remote. I'm assuming that the logo is replaced with a new one, but where would I get one from? and what type of metal paint did you use? Have you considered doing one white to match the rest of your white items? Have you ever considered changing the colour of the Beo4 wall brackets to match each remote? Thanks in advance for your help Leslie.

Regards Nahidul

Beocenter 8000, Beovision 7 32", MX 4000, MX 7000 with matching VCR, MX 1500, Avant 28 DVD, 2 Beo 4 DTV. Beocom 5000 with AV controls, Beolink 5000  (in need of some Major Repairs, Major help- needed with this!! Thanks in advance to anybody who could help)

Hi Leslie

I hope you are keeping well? I was hoping for a little bit of advice, I noticed on one of your previous post/photo shoots that you had a gold Beo4. I want one!!! :D] So my question really is how did you do it? What paint did you use? and how did you reproduce the logo at the bottom of the remote? Also have you ever considered doing one in white and also changing the colour of the wall bracket to match that of the remote? Any advice or help is greatly appreciated Leslie, or anybody else who can help!

Don't mention a BEO4 remote wall bracket to Leslie!  We had a lively discussion about them - or at least the cost of some at the end of last week.

A reseller was selling a Gold one recently too - BEO4, not wall bracket.

Dave.

Ok, after returning time to post again on my thread.

All Red Lines finished so as my 2 Valves amps 608, Dirigent 609K (with stereo decoder), 3 Beolabs 5000 classics and 2 Beomasters 8000 done by Ipaul. Thanks Paul!!

Need to finish my remote controlled speaker switch so I can do the caps comparison test for the Red Lines.

I received my completely refurbished Beomaster 6000 Quad from Step1 (Olly) and the whole white quad setup can be made now..... Thanks Olly, you did a hell of a job!

Gimme two weeks Jacques and we will do the test once the remote is finished. Gonna put a big 7 segment display in front of the enclosure to see which pair is selected, so you can sit and relax and use the remote to control. :-)

Great Graham, you've been there as well. Hotel is quite good like most hotels in SEA and Middle East countries. Comparing to the European ones I mean.

Bloody time zones. Just woke up and it's midnight...

I do have one left for scrap (I guess) but takes a lot of time to dismantle this beast. What exactly do you need (if it's working)?

Hi Leslie!

I'd need the following:

Front and left wood trims, display (only if working), glass panel.

Thanks! Smile

Leslie, you wouldn´t have any extra "tubings" for the MMC´s you would want to sell?

On the first picture with LP´s, the bottom one to the right.. Have you ever listened to it with the 4channel setup?

I have the same one, but not the 4channel-box for the Beomaster.

From what I understand the 4channel was an early stage of surround sound?

I have the Max Richter Recomposed DVD, and I think it sounds better in stereo than in 5.1.

Have to make my BM6000 quad setup first and I'm quite curious how it sounds.

BM6000 quad receiver + commander

BG6000 recordplayer

BC5000 cassettedeck

P50 loudspeakers

Another album found...
