Hi BeoWorld, the glass display panel at the top of the BEOLINK 5000 remote unit has fallen out of it mounting point and a small piece of the ribbon type connection has disappeared from the glass piece. This means, nothing displayed on the glass display panel when repositioned in place and attempted to use with BEOCENTRE 9500. No functionality whatsoever. Does this mean I need to purchase another BEOLINK 5000 remote unit or can I purchase this glass display piece ?

Hi Russ,

i'm sorry but you would need a new mainboard with display or a complete new Beolink 5000. Both are official no more available. Be warned for used Beolinks from eBay. They often have bad pixels which can't be repaired too.

Maybe for every day use a Beolink 1000 and for the full control of your beocenter 9500 a nice Beolink 7000.
