A friend told me that 3 new products will be unveiled in May :
The new TV, the evolution of the BeoLab 9 (BeoLab 20), and a new audio system (B&O tablet ?)
Do you know more about this ?
The first two were 'discussed' multiple times on the forum already.
The 'BeoPad' is expected for this summer.
But really - noone knows exactly.
There is supposed to be a new remote coming with the 'Avant' - but details are also there unknown.

Will the new remote be compatible with IR-based B&O products, or will it be wi-fi and only work with the newer NL products?

If you meant an invitation for one of the official launch events, the answer is no!
It would be too far to travel to Copenhagen (or London) for that.
I prefer a launch at my local store - most bigger stores have these events.
Only 2 products in May, but that should be good enough for a start.

I don't think it particularly matters Chris. Apple doesn't buy all it's panels from Samsung and panel-manufacturing is at an extremely high standard these days. A BV10 picture from three years ago can still hold it's own, in 2014.
The difference isn't just the panel, it's how the panel is lit (locally dimmed or side-lit, which is the norm for nearly every LCD TV), the processing and of course the source.
Besides, I'm not going to live my life constantly fretting about whether I own a TV with the best possible picture. Good lord, there are way better things to do with my time. The only interesting part of the new TV for me is the new pricing structure for B&O TV's going forward.

I just received a VIP invitation by mail coming from B&O Denmark for May 08 at my dealers store. Almost time for the champagne gentlemen!

I know the topic on the new TV has already been discussed, but i wanted to put the stress on the other 2 products that could be launched at the same time.
Some say that the BeoLab could be unveiled later and the new audio product too.
So, if 3 products are unveiled on May, i think it's good for the customer and for the BeoWorlders !
Most peole seem to know that the Avant and the BL20 are being launched on Mai 8th.

I've just been invited to the launch as well. Could you think of a better location than Struer Museum to hold it? I don't think so! Will I be going? You bet I will!
