Beware: the feature list is somewhat incorrect!

The Stage has Deezer built-in - like other current B&O devices.

AND

It has Audio playback via analogue Line-in.

Also... "VLAN connection with LG C9 series TV for integrated controle via Beoremote One"

Do they (whom ever they are) even know what "VLAN" is?

Marketing mambo jambo galore

I don't think BEOVOX141 has time to respond. Big Smile

kuyttendaele:
From what I heard it will be the C9 and follow up models... something to do with the B&O App
running on the LG Cx (which, rumours, will be a  standard app when leaving the factory)

Karel.

BEOVOX141:
Just to clarify, There is nothing special here, the Smart TV Remote
Apps for LG smart TVs app has been around for a long time.

christiank:
That's not clarifying. That's confusing. Has nothing to do with that app you're showing there.

BEOVOX141:
Same interface, control over WLAN has been around for years!

KMA:
Karel refers to a B&O App installed on LG C9 (and future LG OLEDs), which, as with BeoVision
Harmony, allows integration of the B&O soundbar and C9, to be used with BeoRemote One BT.

kuyttendaele:
Exactly... If LG (and B&O) can update this app so that LG screens are out of the box able to
communicate with the Stage (or future B&O products) then I'm confident that there is still a future
for TV related products in the B&O gamma.

Karel.

poodleboy:
If LG let B&O touch their APP they are crazy.

sd2100:
Maybe a little weird question, but how does Beosound Stage the device feel. ?
Ok, solid (looks like that), or are we under the surface in some plastic-oh-magic. ?

Lars:
Bottom solid hug. Looks good. Delicious finish. Really good sound, with both volume and bottom.
Sharp price. Unbelievable that it does not cost more than for example. a Beosound 1 mono speaker.
And everything is included in the package. No suspension or the like must be purchased. next to.

I think the B&O stores will sell a lot. Especially when customers find out it's a music, especially
when customers discover that it is also a music system. Can be used completely without a TV,
and just lie on a sideboard, a shelf or similar, or hung on a wall.

No updated soundbar at this time.

Beosound 1 only a new color. DKK 13,000. Total downturn. Sad

Would have been ridiculous to launch an ‘updated soundbar’ (whatever that might be) just one week after the launch of the BS Stage....would have taken the focus from that.

And even more ridiculous to let Baron Vejrup be in charge of that launch....what did you expect!

Just get used to the fact, that B&O does not play by YOUR rules....go get that A/V receiver, that you talked about multiple times and get on with your life.

Alternative to BeoSystem 5 Audio 7.1 surround, which never came. No matter, BSy5 had
probably become obsolete today. If B&O puts a sticker over Yamaha, Millemissen will be
happy for 7.1.4 surround sound, when the Avant 55” from 2014 goes down. Smile

Can we move this topic to its own PP forum so that it doesn't polute the "General Discussion & Questions"?

I'm not banning anyone nor trying to censor anyone. I'm all in for free speech.. Just requesting to have a dedicated PP playground so the General Discussions & Questions is not constantly polluted.

Concerning light reflecting in different wavelengths... It was all but too obvious that there were not going to be 2 separate product launches within one week... but ok.. I will not be using the c-word anymore. I'll rephrase it as a mixture of red, green and blue depending on the stimulation of cone cells in the human eye by electromagnetic radiation in the visible spectrum.

I’ve told you before Peter. I will not be the only person who clicks on the thread to remove it from the unread topics list and so it appears I have viewed it in your figures. That must account for two or three times a day since the thread started just for me.

I have no idea what this thread is about. It seems to be your own personal space. I hope other people find it useful and informative.

Please K, I wasn't attacking the messenger; far from it. PP gets all the attention but I do consider this his stream and every once in a while I sit on his beach for a minute. I apologize that my comment triggered you that way. I just put my view out there as you did.

PS: Mine was not a sarcastic smiley. Maybe they need to create a 2-faced version Smile

That's the last thing we've read.

Torben Rasmussen:
LG has confirmed that their USB WiSA Dongle is for sale at blah. B&O's own stores.
There is also a 3rd party WiSA receiver, but they do not know who will distribute it, orif
it comes to Denmark. We tried to get the date and price out of them.

LG TVs 2020 model year. 2020 OLED and LCD TVs running webOS 5-0 operating system:

In January 2020, LG Electronics will tradionally unveil its latest OLED and LCD TVs at CES.
The new generation will receive improvements, for example, support for outputting images and
sound, and of course the latest version of the webOS 5.0 software platform.

This is an information to keep in mind when LG does not update webOS operating systems
on older LG TV versions.
