hi everyone,

I was lucky enough to find a nice BeoGram3400, however this one runs on US 117V.

not a huge problem as such - it has no voltage selector but looking at the tabs of the transformer

and the circuit diagram, I wonder if it could be re-wired to set up for 220V using the tabs differently

as per service manual circuit diagram.

can someone perhaps shine some light on this ??

cheers, ALF

forget it folks,

one day I might try and see what happens, in the meantime I am using a travel step-down transformer

for devices not using more than 50Watt, costing the huge amount of $5 incl postage.

cheers, ALF

Sorry, I didn't see your post until now.
Can you tell us the 4-digit type number of your Beogram ?
