Is there any way to set up a BV7-40 mk2 so that when pushing TV on the Beo4 it starts AV2 (scart)?

I have a digibox that I get the cable channels via internet connection.

Or is it only possible to get antenna signals to the TV-section of a Beovision?

Would be nice to use the A9 keyring to something else than turning on and off the lights :P

With TV SW 30.08a it is possible to disable the internal analogue tuner and assign another source to the TV button.
Officially the 30.xx SW is only suitable for TVs equipped with a DVB-HD modul but it will also work without any problems if this is not present.

If your TV is on 7.xx this function is not available and you would have to call your local dealer to perform a flash update and change the both SW ICs.

Had the update last year, but pretty sure it is 7something. Not paying 200 euros again just to get that function. Guess i just have to continue using the keyring for decoration :P

In the MX days it was possible to delete all tv channels except for one and chose decoder in the tuning menu of that channel. If you pressed tv if would chose the scart socket that was assigned to decoder. No idea if there is a similar workaround for your tv.

Thanks you got this nice tip. It works also on my Avant 32 RF. However, it seems not possible to control the decoder, only show it's output.
