Hi,

to use my BV10 including its speaker, I need to convert a powerlink signal (from BS3) to S/PDIF.

Is there any product PL to S/PDIF around ?

Kind Regards

Tom

OK,  got it - I will use an PL to RCA connection and put this signal into a normal analogue to digital converter...

May I ask you, why you want to do the conversion?

Why not use a simple MasterLink connection?

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Hi MM,

sure you can do. I want to add a BS3 to my living room for homecinema reason. Due to the fact, that the existing BV10 isn´t able to control a beamer nor to "switch" the Beolabs to different setups and furthermore isn´t able to handle 7.1, I need a solution. I am no allowed to get rid of the BV10...

I will use the BV10 for TV controlled by BS3 and need the center PL-connection from BS3 to use the internal speaker as center. So I am in need to convert the PL signal to SPDIF to define "TV" on the BV10 using HDMI1-input for TV and SPDIF1 for audio - both coming from BS3.
