The drawer motor on my Beocord 5000 tends to run for several seconds before stopping, after the drawer has opened or shut....And its not quiet either. Its my only issue but I dont want the motor to burn out or any thing else to happen from prolonged use in this condition. The motor runs louder than I remember it. Any ideas?

Perfectly normal less the noise, if excessive.If you can hear the motor run after the drawer has fully closed or opened, the belt is slipping andmust be replaced (I can supply exact reproduction belts).

I got my belt from Martin, works, as parts from Martin always do.
And check here to change the belt

That must be it. I would love a new belt. If you sell a belt kit for the Beocord 5000 that includes all belts that would be nice as well.
