Has anyone attempted to remove the iPhone/ iPad dock on the Beosound 8?

I have mine wall mounted and only use it for airplay with Apple Airport express.

To remove it properly, you have to almost disasembly the BS8 totally.
Both speakers and electronics has to be removed in order to take out the docking connector. And it will leave a hole Smile

I think the BS8 looks better with an iPad connected. The A8 just doesn't look right without a dock or iPad (iPhone looks too small), although that STB stand does look good, I'll admit!
