laser pickup for beosound 9000

I have a Beosound 9000 type 2659  i have intermittent pauses in songs and was told a while back the laser pickup could be bad could someone point me he right direction to who sells or rebuilds these? Thanks

Tell us where you are and someone might know a local dealer/repair center.

I don't recognise the type number but never the less, you would be well advised to try and purchase the relevent kit for your particular model from a B&O dealer, as you will end up with the equivalent  to the Mk3 model which have proved to be more reliable in the laser/servo department.

Happened to my BS9000 at the age about 11. Had the CD mech changed and it works again. Don't remember the cost, but it was not expensive. The fix didnt upgrade the machine to Mk3, as Netradio and Netmusic is still not possible.

You will need to ask for the S/W to be upgraded to version 2.21 at the same time, if you want N-Radio and N- Music.

Should cost very little extra.
