Is there a way to restore the brushed aluminum finish?
i have some speakers that have light scratches on them
The short answer is no.You cannot restore the original surface unless you have an aluminum plant like Bang & Olufsens. And it's not brushed, it's eloxated and has a protective coating on top.

I asked a similar question about a Beogram platter when I first joined Beoworld, and got no answer.
You can't repair existing damage but you may be able to prevent any aluminium oxydation from spreading or 'tracking' across brushed aluminium. Try using 'Renaissance' micro-crystaline wax polish. It is used by museums for all sorts of protection and restoration and leaves an invisible coating.

So there is no way to mask little sand scratches.
They are on my CX100 on the bottom and its just those little things that annoy me.
You cannt actually see them, but if I can fix it I would want to
