Hello Beoworld

since this week my V1 behaves strangely. After watching television for some time, it shuts down by itself. This doesn't happen when I am listening to music ( in multi room mode, joining in in my Essence).

Any idea how to resolve this? My V1 was really very stable before this started to happen.

32 inch or 40 inch?

Jeff

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad

Does anyone have an idea how to resolve this? When watching DTV, the V1 shuts down every half hour or so. It does not occur when streaming music in multi-room mode from an Essence.

Very annoying! My family gets more and more upset!

Maybe it caught a lot of dust inside? It's fanless. Not sure if it's that but seems strange. There is a timer feature too. Have you checked that? Usually it turns the tv off after a few hours of inactivity.

Have you asked B&O?

There goes that idea. The 32 inch ones had a lot of power supply issues, but not the 40s apparently. Sorry, there went my idea.

Do you have a B&O hifi in the same room? If yes, which one?

Hello all,

in the meantime I think the issue has been resolved.

I changed a setting in the Essence Beolink setup parameters from "using my V1 as primary product" to " none". This apperently caused that the V1 shutted down after watching television for 30-45 min. (I don't understand why, but this behaviour started when I changed these parameter in the Essence Product Setup page).

I switched back to Essence Beolink parameter to using the V1 as primary Beolink product, and then did a full restart of both the V1 and Essence (power off - wait some time - power on). Since then, I didn't have the problem again.

I don't understand how this Essence 'primary Beolink" setting can cause this behaviour, but apparently it did....

I hope that the probem is now resolved, and will keep you posted in cause it appears again.

Jan
