Battery life, if it is 4 hours that wont work for many. if phones start coming without plug for cable youbwould need 10 to 20 hours to make it rhrough the day I guess
"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
Hoping for a smart battery top-up case to extend internal battery.

BeoLab 18's. Beolab 3's. A8. A9. A2. H7.
I hope they did change some design issues with the in-ear-fitting. I can't use my H3 for workout as they add another and unwanted workout program: "Pick up your headphones while running" I use my A8 as they stay in their position during sports. But the H5 could be the perfect combination for the Sony Smartwatch 3 while running... but let's wait: These are bluetooth headphones from B&O. I'll be cautious.
Michael:The problem is that I have to hold the cord in my hand otherwise they get pulled out of the ears to easily and I don't like cables hitting my chest while running.
TWG:"Pick up your headphones while running"
BeoNut since '75
Duels:Apologies if this is stating the obvious but have you tried a larger size of ear pad? I had the same problem at first, moved up a size and they now are very secure.
In the US one store list them at 249$ which was sort ef expected I guess
No idea on battery life, should be more then 4 hours mentioned in this threat, 6 to 8 I found others are able to do, same seize.

still no official word on battery duration
On Beoplay.com the official word says up to 5 hours battery duration.
The best thing: They support AptX-Codec! That means better sound quality via Bluetooth!Does anybody know if, what and when other colors will be introduced?

Not for iPhone, right?
I don't know if the iPhone supports AptX but as far as I know Apple it will not support it AND they will sell you this as the "most amazing feature in the world" I would never ever buy an iPhone again (I had two of them).
I've ordered a pair. The lack of aptx doesn't bother me on an iPhone because the H5 streams AAC. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they sound. Hopefully the Bluetooth connection is like the revised H8 and the H7s, with almost zero dropouts.

Sorry, but AAC has NOTHING to do with the Bluetooth quality. AAC is a file format (audio codec) and AptX is a Bluetooth standard! It's like comparing a monkey with a truck. I know Apple is perfect in this category, but please don't let them fool you. ;-)I agree with you on the Bluetooth connection... hopefully they did it right this time.@Beobay68: 100% agree! I want a blue pair, too!

BeoBoy68: Bad marketing
Bad marketing
It´s quite common to keep a product "alive" by introducing e.g new colors. It gives a reason for a company to communicate around the product more than once, to drive revenue for that product.
I would call it good marketing
@ Hiort
Not agree with you for me - sorry
I want the blue pair now

I think you are wrong. I understand perfectly the difference between AAC and Aptx. The point is that if the sending device and the receiving device can decode AAC - as is the case between the iPhone and the H5, then this codec is used by default without further transcoding. Therefore, the quality can be comparable to an Android device using aptx. This is why B&O specifically market their bluetooth headphones as being AAC compatible - it provides equivalent quality for iOS users as the default audio format on Apple is AAC.
If this were not the case, there would be no point in B&O building AAC decoding directly into their headphones.
Indeed, Michael - they're both lossy, but broadly speaking the AAC compatibilty is the iOS equivalent, quality-wise, to aptx on Android.
