I currently have BV11-55, BL1s up front and BL19 subwoofer. Thinking of side/rear speakers to get a full 5.1 experience. Any recommendations? I am not sure what characteristics I should be looking for based on their limited functionality and the need to interact/complement BL1s. Also given my limited space, the speakers would have sit next to the sofa (as opposed to behind), if that makes any difference. BL17 seems to be the only option from the current line up, but wondering if BL4, BL12-1/2/3 if i could score some slightly used speakers would be decent options. Also, can you add non-BO to the mix? Thanks in advance....

BeoLab 3's apparently work well -- check out this post showing a tight layout similar to what you describe:

I’d say, it depends on your placement options.
If you must wall-mount them go for the BL3’s - be sure to turn them downwards to the listening area.
If you have enough space beside the sofa, a set of BL6002 would be fine - would fit well designwise, too.
Your BL19 is fine for serving front and surround speakers with bass (if well setup).

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Thanks everyone for the input - BL3s seem to be the winner here. I have a WISA transmitter so can always pop a couple of receivers to avoid cabling back to the TV. Separately, i am still amazed by how much value the BL19 has delivered to a 3.1 setup, and specially for stereo music. Cheers, Robert
