Hi!
I´m thinking of an HomeTheatre with a Eclipse Sound Center as HT Processor.
I unpluged the HDMI cable and got the picture on my beamer, but not the menu.
Has anyone any idea how i can fix this?
Greets,
mosim
The eclipse does not output video. The menu u see on the LG panel is from the TV itself.

Beovision 7-55 MK1 red, Beolab 10 red. Beolab 50, all black. Beolab 17 broken ice. Beolab transmitter. Apple tv4 and apple express 2.
So, Is the sound center useless as it is without the LG panel that suits it?
Esax: That roules out bigger or newer lg panels.

No, not when these would be part of a Beovision Eclipse 😉

Is that even a likely scenario, that someone would buy an Eclipse and scrap the screen of some reason?
There is a "Line in" to feed the Sound Centre but I dont think you will be able to manage anything without the screen.

Nevertheless, it is now listed separately in the official price list,- let the guessing game begin!
Fairly cheap actually...
Can't you configure the stuff you need to configure through the App?
Well, at 30.000DKK I would happily buy the (assumed) future version of a Sound Center that we frequently call here the Soundbar. :)
Hi mosim,
if you buy a splitter, you can use the screen and a beamer. A HDfury should help if your Beamer doesn’t have all the things the LG screen has (like HDR).
Just click on “image off” to turn off the screen when the beamer is on, and voilà!

Sure - but I guess that the op wanted to avoid buying the screen part of the BV Eclipse.

It's always been listed like this, but you cannot buy the sound center without the screen. No guessing required.
I have already told BEOVOX141 that on another forum....but, he seems to have forgotten it 🤔
There are a number of sound centres in a warehouse in Australia that will be up for sale soon. No panels, it was a valid question
So, who will be the first to get one of these in order to try it out with a stock LG OLED tv?

My crystal ball says that after months of weeping and gnashing of teeth B&O will decide they are not in the TV business and come up with the idea to sell the sound center separate. I could also see the Cosmodrome in the background and Pinocchio on the display, and a Tuscany Blu speaker cover. Hope this helps.
There are several ‘crystal balls’ out rhere - each showing it’s own rumours.

Why not just ask your (read: a) dealer, if you can purchase the Sound Center on it’s own....
....that would calm down the discussion.

It wouldn't make sense, since my dealer has the complete combo at almost the same price as the soundbar is listed at.
However "a dealer" hinted at it actually will be available for sale separately.
Imagine how versatile that soundbar would have been, had B&O stuck to the Bsys 2/3/4 approach. The biggest mistake ever.

Could you evaluate that statement, please!

The pipe and slipper crowd would argue that Bsys 2-4 brought value to the picture. That's no longer required (or possible?). Bsys 2-4 required a center speaker which B&O no longer make. Soundcenter would be great for ticking all the boxes if you want to be a B&O future.
I am just wondering, where the ‘mistake’ is?
Keep at it,- it should keep you busy for a while

Thanks - that was exactly the answer I expected....so, no need to keep on being busy.
There are more important things in life.

There can't be a golden era in the way that there was.
I'm not sure why people still hold out hope for this. That's not to say they can't design cool products.
But a lot of things that could once justify the price premium have disappeared.
They don't have a lead in multi room audio, where perhaps they once did.
Design wise, television forms have collapsed into nothing but a thin panel. And video processing has become more complex, and better now left to the brands that can lean on their relationships with Hollywood colouring studios to push that forward. There is nothing B&O can offer here.
And when it comes to control interfaces, voice will become as important as other interfaces, so they have to lean on Google, Alexa, Siri etc, and that is not an experience fully under B&O's control. Even where they do have control, i.e. the B&O app, it's a weak experience, with a not well thought out GUI.
They can of course still design some damn nice looking and sounding speakers, and that's still a big USP.
All of which is irrelevant though if their software experience continues to be sketchy
