Some quick geeky questions (possibly for Keith ) regarding some anomalies with my Beocom 6000 Mk2.
Firstly, why does my Beocom 6000 Mk2 appear to have the Mk1 charging connectors?
Secondly, why is there no headphone socket?
And thirdly, why does my Mk 1 PSTN base/charger output 5.65V rather than the 7.5V that I expected? Was there a SW change that reduced the output voltage to suit the later phones
Answering my own post - I just found a post of Keith's from Aug 07 that answers my last question:
...in practice and certainly in the UK Mark I and II chargers produce an unloaded charging voltage of 5.6 volts and the phones have the standard 3.6 volts cells made up of three 1.2 volt cells.

It appears that my Beocom Mk2 is actually an upgraded Mk1 - which means that it kept the Mk1 power connectors and did not gain an earset socket.
