Any idea where I can get a replace door for the cassette side of the BC9500?

The one I have is scratched.

Thanks,

Derek

Since nobody have answered yet...

I guess the only solution is to search the net for a non functioning BC9500 or 9300 and use that as a donor.
The postage may be quite expensive though, if you do not find one nearby where you live.

And it does require some technical skills (and a lot of patience) to replace it.

Maybe, if someone have one, one will keep it, might someday need it. I would be happy to get even some scrathed one, as I need only plasticparts...

As others already said - they're not easy to find (if not mistaking support by B&O was stopped as well for those) - but you may try either live with the fact, that they not perfect, but working or to scatter net until you find some I've seen set not long ago on eBay,

That said I myself look for glass panel for bc8500 months now without luck, as the economic situation progresses it'll be more "uneconomical" to repair units offered through eBay and other media's.

all the best

Hi Derek,

I would say your best bet is on Ebay or ask our fantastic resident obsolete B&O parts supplier Leslie.

They do tend to show up in various condition every now and then. You are probably lucky if you find one that sells the cassette door only. They usually go as a set (doors + the center piece).

Good luck,

Mikael

Is it true that all 3 panels need to be replaced because the stainless steel color many not match?

I would doubt that.
The quality of those polished aluminum panels (they are not stainless steel)  from B&O is very high.
I have never tried to put two BC 9500's next to each other to compare...But I have a Beosystem 4500 (receiver, tapedeck and CD-player) where I have replaced the Beocord and Beogram CD several times. There has never been any visible differences, even if they were manufactured in different years.

It may be slight differences however - depends on use and environment panels was imposed to, but would have little if any significance ;)
