Gentlemen,

I am planning on extending our ML network by adding our Ouverture+BL2500 to the existing network. The preset network is driven by our living room set, which consists of a BV7+BS3200 which comprise the master unit in the system.

The main question remains, is there a way to force the Ouverture into audio slave mode? I would like to keep the Ouverture as a part of the system for the BL2500's don't look to great as stand alone speakers.

Best regards!

Using a Beo 4 "GO" model wo "joystick" the procedure is :

Press "RED DOT" and set the whole system to standby.

Press "RED DOT" & "LIST" simultanously  >> Beo4 display canges to "ADD?"
Press "LIST" till display shows "OPTION?"
Press "GO"
Press "LIST" till display shows "A.OPT"
Press "5" if you own only audio products or "6" if there is a B&O Master-TV in the ML network

During entering "5" or "6" the red standby LED should "twinkle" = going off for a short time.

If this does not happen your BeoSound Overture is a very old model and you need the
SW EPROM exchanged to get it Option 5/6 ready.

PS: visit the Beotech pages too ...
