Hello, good day - do you have a recommendation how to set up a BeoVision 8-40 (type 9560) so my mother can 'stream' through WiFi. Can I just get her a cable to go from the TV's HDMI-socket and a Wifi-module (Apple) or must it be a fixed-line from TV's HDMI to the actual router? Or should it be from SCART? Or connect a Google ChromeCast in some way (HDMI/SCART)?
Thank you, Klaas
I have a Fire TV Stick on the TV and I am happy with it.

These are merely external devices - that you set up to a HDMI port on the 8-40 and assign a button to on the Beo4.
Any other configuration e.g. connecting to the network, wireless or wired etc is done in the device = with the ATV in the user interface on screen with the Chromecast via the Google Home app.
Note! If you want to control the user interface of the ATV with the Beo4. you will need the suitable PUC codes installed on the BV8 and the ir cable.
Since there is no user interface on the screen using the CC, there is nothing to control there (apart from the volume).
And afterwards you of course control the volume with the Beo4.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
