I just got a pair of Penta 3, I connected then to my BV7-40 MkII and a BS 3000.
Three speakers are connected with 8-pins powerlink.
The display on the speakers do not show any information with this set up. Should it show anything?
When I'm connect the Penta directly to a BS2300 it shows the information.
Hi,
When you connect the Penta's to the BC2300 you use fully wired MK2 PowerLink cables and display is working.
Are you using the same fully wired MK2 cables when you connect the Penta's to the BS3000 ?
Regards
R.
If the Audio/Video switch is set correctly (Audio when connected to the Beosound, Video when connected to the TV) and the displays still don't work, then the Powerlink cables may not be fully wired. All modern Powerlink cables have 8 pin plugs but not all of these will be connected inside the cable unless you have the fully wired mk.2 cables. These cables are needed in order to light the speaker displays:-

Thanks to all reply, I will check the audio/video switch.
I guess that is the problem.
The cable seems to work both on the BC2300 and BS3000.
