Hi

I have different devices at a MLGW. Now I'd like a macro for wake up with BeoTime and MLGW. All devices should start with Radio.

My questions:

With which setting on BeoTime should this work (MLGW-function I have enabled)

What do I have to configure in MLGW-Macro section to do this

Thank's a lot for further help.

Regards, Hermann

hermann,

you can make an macro in your ml gateway that can be triggerd by the light commands from the beotime.

for exaple an macro that would be triggerd by Light 1. put the beotime source on Light 1 and the Light 1 command should be send to a tv or radio that can received light commands to ml gateway.

you can simply choose the alarmsource "radio" in your Beotime.

Thank's for reply.

@TWG: Doesn't work, because with your suggestion only the devices with ir connection turn on.

@1983Beo: I will try this when I'm at home.

I tried the following setup, unfortunately without success. Any further help, please?

On BeoTime --> Alarm Light 1, Sunrise off

On MLGW, please have a look at the following image -->

You set Beotime to send LIGHT - 1 and trigger in MLGW to LIGHT - 0.

Can't work...

Set trigger to LIGHT - 1 too.

Try to delete the first command light - light. Second row Light - 1 should work...

I changed the settings, please have a look on image below. It doesn't work. What do you mean, could it be, that my option configurations are wrong, so that the light commands can't received through the devices? With the actual option settings all works fine, but not light commands - is there a mistake?

Some of my devices are old and they could possibly not receive light commands. But the BV11 should do it, i have the newest software on it.

When I look in the web-monitor tool on mlgw, then i can't see something when I push on beo4 light and chiffre 1. Also when i try it with BeoTime (alarm light and chiffre 1). When I use a virtual button, then i can see informations on web-monitor - is this monitor behavior correct?

Have you activated the function to receive light+control commands on the product in the room where you have the BeoTime? Else the IR command will never reach the MLGW.

As said in your other thread BV must be enabled to receive and send light/control commands and it must be configured in the mlgw tool under networklink products.

you said this macro works with virtual button, but i can't see a virtual button event triggering this macro...?

Stefan: in this Image you can't see the virtual button, I toke it away. But really, with virtual button my macro works fine.

As you told me, I have enabled MLGW in BV11. But I can't find enabling light commands. Can you tell me how I can do it? Thanks a lot.

You only need to enable MLGW (the function is named different on different products).

Can you control the BV11 from the MLGW?

Hi, the function that you should enable is called "reroute light/control" on a BV11 according to the link below:

Sorry, I don`t have a BV11, but in BV7 menu (BS3 customer service menu) it`s called STAT to MLGW and CMDS to MLGW.

I can set these options to ON or OFF.

Appearently this menu is called "reroute light/control"  in BV11, according to Ianos information.

And you must configure your BV11 in the MLGW webtool. Webtool must be the newest update sw 2.10.

Are you able to control your BV11 via MLGW?

Hi together

A special thank to stefan and lano for all your help.

Until now it doesn't work, but with your help I know much more. So i know now, expect my BV11 all other devices doesn't work with light control.

Now I had "only" to make the settings in BV11. Unfortunately, i get not to the configuration side as it described in mlgw document

Accessing Customer Service Menu

- Press the MENU button on the remote control.

- Choose ‘Setup’, and press the Centre button.

- Press RED button and within 3 seconds press the Centre button.

- Choose ‘Settings’, and press the Centre button.

When i press red button ( I think it is meant the red arrow) and press the centre button, nothing changes. Maybe you can tell me what I do wrong?

Best regards, Hermann

Hi together

The problem, why i couldn't get access to service menu was, by my BV11 was help to each menu enabled. After disabling, i could get access and enable light commands.

Thank's a lot for your great help.

I don`t know what your other products are, but maybe a sw update for some products will help.

You can get more information about this from the compatibility list on the MLGW site.

http://mlgw.bang-olufsen.dk/

But your "wake up" macro should work now, if you let your BV11 control your linkrooms triggered by Beotime.

Good luck.

Stefan

Yes, it works :-)

And some of my old products can be updated other not. But all this is no problem, because BeoTime works with BV11 and MLGW, so i can do all what i want.

Best regards

Hermann
