Hi,
I am looking for the cable for two of my B&O turntables. I own Beogram 6002 and Beogram 8002, both with DIN socket on the rear panel and I want to use them with diferent Beomasters which I also own. So I would have cable for these Beograms, with 7 pin / pole DIN male Plug / Connector on both sides of cable. I need this to have a possibility to start the turntable with remote control when used for example with BM6000. I know that on the original B&O cable it was possible to screw 2 of 7 pins out to use these turntables also with older Beomasters (or non B&O receivers). Is it any chance that somebody has this original cable for sale? If not, I would be glad if somebody could post the picture how the pins should be wired. I presume it is the same as “B&O” 5 pole DIN plug but with pin nr.6 for a data transmission (ON/OFF turntable). Am I right?

The simple answer is, ask Steve who advertises here (see bottom of this page). He's got everything you need - and his prices are very buyer-friendly!
It is also possible to make them yourself, the 7-pin DIN plugs being readily available, along with suitable braided cable. Well, if you like that sort of thing, that is.

Hi chartz,
thank you for your post. Yes, probably it would be the easiest way to order the cable from Steve. I wiull contact him.
But anyhow I would be glad to see how the pins are connected on the 7 pin DIN cable
Not looking anymore.
Of course it was the easiest way to call B&O locally
They have these cables still. I ordered 2 Pieces: EUR 15,40 / Piece ...
Double shielded?
blah-blah and photographs as needed
Yes I think.
I ordered them and I was told they are original cables for BG6002/8002.
Today my wife will collect them and I can tell you if they are.

While exploring info for my 8000 I just learned about PH marking(double shield) on cable. I have one and did not know it is especially for these. Have to find new for my CD5500.
I made one, very easy. I used old stock Neumann microphone cable and Neutrik 7-pin DIN plugs.
