Has spotify, as a direct button press, taken the place of something else?

ie how N.radio = Phono?

How can you send the command to a bsys4/bv1 to trigger spotify with an MLGW?

You can assign any command you want for Spotify. DTV2, DVD3, PC, Radio2 - whatever you like. By default it is CD.

Radio2? - did not notice that on my V1.

And I don't have that in the list of my Beo4 (SW8.00) either.

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV

So... For example... I can have a vaux 2 command bring up spotify? And use it as a radio destination soas not to trigger on the screen?

You can use V.Aux2 no problem. It will turn the screen on though, as it is a video command and Spotify is a video source. Just do P.Mute afterwards. You'll need the screen on to pick some music anyway, it won't automatically start playing anything.

In addition to Martin's reply if you had an Apple TV connected to the BeoVision 11 and assigned the MLGW to turn ATV on you can then add P. Mute straight after. Then use an iPad or iPhone as the interface to the ATV that will then work as an airplay device without the need for the screen on like it would via the Spotfiy app in the TV.

I can make the mlgw make any source a radio destination and not trigger on the screen, there's no need for the p.mute in this scenario.

My goal was to get the music started without the need of the iDevice. May not be possible??

I can make aTV be my streaming piece but that's not exactly what I'm looking for.

I could use the playmaker and do that.

Was hoping that the bv1 setup would source to spotify and start up automatically. I plan to connect a roku and a cable box but this will be a bathroom tv so the music is of great importance.
