Hello,

I need some help with my Beocenter 7002 record player. It was working perfectly until this morning, I lifted the stlus arm on the record player to remove some dust and the arm is now stuck to the right. There feels to be a lot of tension in the arm and pressing the phono or other buttons does not work.

So far I have turned that player off and tried to adjust the counterweight but no luck.

Please can you help?

Thanks

Richard

Sorted, after a while it seemed to reset and tension went, plays perfectly now. Thanks anyway:-)

In cases like this, when the mech. comes "out of sync" or has stopped mid-cycle for unknown reasons, it can
often be a good idea to carefully rotate the platter by hand (normal direction, clockwise as seen from above).
This will often bring everything back in "sync".
