I have that combo with my BS9000 and while some find it too boomy I am loving it.

The trickyness is that the BL2 needs a current to power on, normally the Beosound or Beovision would supply that when turned on via the powerlink cables.
That cable from soundsheavenly seems to do the trick.
Note that without a BL TV you wont get surround.
Hi,
Yes jk1002 has suggested exactly the cable you need (thanks!)! This connects from the TV headphone socket to the Beolab 2, then you can use Powerlink mk.3 cables from the Beolab 2 to the Beolab 3 speakers: http://www.soundsheavenly.co.uk/bando-pl3.htm
This will give you stereo sound plus bass and will allow the Beolab 2 to manage the bass to the other speakers (as in a B&O setup). The speakers will remain on (green light showing) while the powered trigger cable is powered up, then they will revert to standby (red light showing) when you power off the trigger cable.
Each speakers also needs its own mains power cable: http://www.soundsheavenly.co.uk/bando-mains.htm
If you need any further help, please feel free to ask!
Kind regards, Steve.

Hi Kirky1980,
If you wish to connect the speakers directly to a non-B&O TV (ie. without an AV receiver or pre-amplifier), then you will need to connect the speakers to the headphone (3.5mm) socket on the TV, not the RCA/cinch audio outputs. This is because the RCA outputs are normally fixed-level outputs, so the speakers would be permanently playing at FULL VOLUME (shouting intended!) with no way to reduce the volume.
Only a few older models of Sony TVs, plus certain Loewe TVs have variable volume RCA outputs - to my knowledge no other non-B&O TVs in current or recent production have variable RCA outputs for connecting Beolab speakers.
This will give you stereo sound only, for 5.1 (or higher) surround sound I would recommend adding an AV receiver with pre-out sockets to connect the Beolab speakers to. If you need any help with cabling for any of these options, please feel free to ask.
Many thanks, will email you in a moment - just off to get your cables ready now, will post out in the morning
