Did you get a BeoLline base station along with the phone and its charger ?

Th BeoLine is the adapter that takes the POTS and transmits it wirelessly (DECT) to the handset.

Following on from Elephants post, the Beocam 6000 is a cordless phone so exactly what have you plugged intro where?  What is your 'other phone'?

'Out of range' is a sign that the phone is too far away from it's allocated base station.  Do you have the original base station for the Beocom6000 or have allocated it to a new one?

We need a bit more information to help you.

Do you have a user manual?

Dave.
