Someone used my record player and turned it off before the needle came off the record. So, this morning i went to turn it on but the button to start the table to spin isn't working. It's as if it is already pressed down and I cannot push it back up? The button seems stuck?

I don't think it turned off previously which is why the button is still 'down'. Is there a way I can fix this?? I have tried pressing the different speed on the other side of it but it doesn't make a difference, nothing changes..

thank you!!

Yes, lift the tonearm gently by hand, place it at the lead-out grooves and then rotate the platter
by hand to let it run through its end-of record sequence.
