I asked if I could connect a Chromecast stick or Amazon Fire Stick to my Beovision 6 TV (I have the earlier one without an hdmi port). Could I use a hdmi to dvi+audio adapter to this non hdcp compliant TV? Their first response was that it should work but there are not many B&O recommended adapters. So .... I emailed them back asking what adapters were approved. Their second response was to tell me there were no recommended adapters having originally telling me there were(?!!). I'm a bit stuck now - any advise appreciated.
Can't see what it wouldn't work with a Chromecast or with a Fire Stick; pick what you prefer. If the BV6 can't juice the CC or FS then buy an external power supply.
I myself use the CC together with a BV10 and added Google's power supply which provides ethernet capabilities as well. I just want to have things hard wired if possible.
I'm using this setup to connect my FireTV to my Beocenter1 (Non HDCP compliant I assume) It only has scart connections and have no issues at all.
Amazon Fire TV stick will work on BV6-26 with DVI socket.
You'll need an HDMI - HDMI audio extractor, an HDMI - DVI cable and a stereo rca cable.
If you want to control your Fire TV stick with your Beoremote (Beo4?) you have to use the BV6 PUC.
You' need a special USB adapter

a Flirc USB and an IR transmitter cable for the PUC. Program the Flirc to one of the built in PUCs of the BV6.
Hope this helps
