I'd hate to have plinging Britons wake me up every morning (everybody loves autocorrect...)
I second the suggestion of trying fresh batteries. The Beotime does funny things when they are going out. As far as I know there is no way of disabling the alarm sound.

To me, this was always a flaw in the design and was quite disappointing as I would just like to use the sunrise functionality to wake me up. Still loving the Beotime though.

I'm guessing he means when the alarm sound starts off barely audible and increases gradually to full volume.

This is amazing news for me! I have been annoyed that it didn´t control my LC2´s...
Hahah....I got it completely wrong....clearly I don't own a Beotime!
I changed the light setting on the Beotime like this : Light-1 (off)
Sunrise now starts low and gets gradually stronger. Thanks for the help
