this maybe a silly question to some ....

My BeoCenter 1 just died (RiP it was a great looking set) and I've just replaced it with a 6 26 (with HDMi & Freeview).

Ok I'll use HDMi for another Apple Box but how best is it to connect to the BeoCenter 2 (with DVD) for best picture/sound quality ? Masterlink or SCART ..

ps for those who know me my wife took the sighting of another B&O unit really well

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

I may be wrong here but I think you need to use both.  If you check out the user manual in the products section it shows this and I seem to remember needing to do this for my system.  For full functionality you will need both - for remote operation etc.

Agree. My BC2 connects via scart and Masterlink (to a BV5). My ex demonstration BC2 was supplied without the Masterlink cable causing several hours of confusion!
