Beocenter 2 with beovision 4/Beosystem 2

Hi,

I have a bv 4 and bc2 masterlinked together - speakers plugged into beosystem 2, i get tv and dvd sound but the speakers do not come on when pressing cd or radio, i guess its an option issue or i do recall the powerlinks may need switching on/off on the beocenter 2.

Any ideas?

Darren, bit surprised to see you asking this as a Specialist!

TV V.OPT 2 BC2 A.OPT 0

On some BC2's DVD operates the drive if a CD is in the drive - have you got an aerial plugged into the socket unit?  If not it will auto-mute.

You thought it was an option issue - so these are the correct option settings.

A dvd plays when you press dvd but a cd does not play when you press dvd?

Is a scart connected between bc2 socket and bsys2? Defo aerial plugged into bc2 socket?

go into setup menu and check whether there is option to disable radio

I would have thought A.opt 0 would have defaulted sound to TV, try the pl on/off.................. or did you do that already and it didn't work? :)
