My Beolit 12 works well directly connected to my phone, but will not join my home network. My broadband is BT, and the router is a Homehub5. I have no problems with other devices, only the Beolit. It has occasionally worked in the past, but unreliably. It has been checked by B&O, and joins the retailer's network, but will not join mine. It tells me it has joined, but makes no sound.
That's why I got a refund on ours and bought a Beolit 15. I miss the quality of the leather strap and the perforations on the speaker grille and the IR communication with the Beo 4 . But at least Blue tooth works.

mines been rock solid since I discovered my drop-out issues were down to the positioning of my iPhone/iPad in relationship to a clearer site of the router.
we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
Dave Farr:I've just plugged in a tiny Bluetooth receiver by Taotronic via line in and housed it in the flap at the back. Voila, a Beolit 12 with full Bluetooth4.0. Works like a charm. Dave

wow !
also a common mistake that I do is I forget to turn the volume up on my mobile device
A week later and the B&O customer service people seem to have solved the problem.
The problem was one of Network name or SSID, neither of which I had heard of a week ago. Having tried several other things (including buying a second router, but declining to pay BT £30 to help), changing the network name from BTHub5-9KC6 to BTHub59KC6 (yes, really!) seems to have solved the problem.
This information needs distributing around B&O and BT. It has taken me 18 months to get this far!
